Savannah a Leader in Anti White Hiring/Promoting

The city of Atlanta has been faced with an upward trend of discrimination in their hiring and promoting practices -- discrimination against whites.

Many say this is a good indication of the general state of Georgia governments and their hiring practices as well.   And certain officials have found reason and promise to look into the hiring practices of other municipalities in Georgia.

As far as the City of Atlanta violations, one man has been awarded $1.18 million dollars in a discrimination lawsuit.  He was denied a promotion by a black.

Commissioner Emma Darnell wanted to replace an African-American female who left the position,  with another African-American female.   Darnell stated, "there were too many white boys on staff."

The city of Atlanta located in Fulton county has had its share of discrimination lawsuits in recent years.  According the Census Bureau, Fulton county is practically identical in race demographics but blacks in terms of employment, represent 83 percent of the county government jobs.  Savannah will not follow suit, because they are the leader of anti-white hiring and promting practices .   It will only take one white to file a suit for the citizens to realize what is going on.

The city of Savannah, Board of Education and Chatham county governments already consist of 93 % blacks employed and there are 64% blacks living in the confines of Savannah city as of 2013.  As far as promotions, one only has to look at the current day leaders in these governments to see the discrimination.

The issue of discrimination against whites has risen under the Obama administration and with the introduction of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) amendment that was added to the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill in 2010, it has received more visibility.

Preferential treatment for first BLACK City Clerk?

 When will the treatment end?

Excerpt from SavannahNow  19 JAN 2013

Mayor Otis Johnson is the most recent example. In 2008 and 2009, he documented problems with Reese’s performance.

He granted some allowances for an extended illness, but also noted that while on sick leave, she was traveling to IIMC meetings

He also objected to her niece working in the office, which he deemed a violation of the nepotism policy.

When IIMC colleagues retire, have a death in the family or when its staff needs to be remembered during the holidays, city invoices show Reese sends gifts using city money.

Those examples were all found in payments from 2011.

Within three months, city payment vouchers show, Reese sent a Christmas gift to IIMC staff, a retirement gift to a city clerk in Wisconsin and a gift for an IIMC silent auction.

The combined purchases were less than $200.

A few months later, she made a $50 contribution to the clerk’s education foundation in honor of the president’s mother-in-law, who had passed away.

Reese said Thursday the gifts are sent not only on behalf of the clerk’s association, but also on behalf of the city of Savannah.

2012 Circus of Crime and anti-white Ringleaders in Savannah, GA

Since 2004, taxpayers of Savannah, Georgia continue to be squeezed by anti-white mayors whom hold a dedicated conviction. So convicted that their first priority of business isn't business at all, it's personal, their skin color.

Former mayor, Otis Johnson publicly admitted his anti-white regime many times over.  Current mayor and former mayor pro-tem under Johnson – Edna Jackson , was elected because she has been a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People ( NAACP ) for over sixty years. The NAACP went all over Savannah on Jackson's behalf, signed up black voters, rounded up black voters, gave black voters rides to the polls, coffee, lunch, and most likely liquor shots and cigarettes too. All based on the color of one's skin, all this – just to get votes for Edna Jackson.

Without the aid of the NAACP, Jackson would not have been elected mayor.

Jackson attends and holds professional memberships in multiple “black only” clubs, organizations, banquets, fund raisers, scholarship programs and is retired from Savannah State University, an historically black college/university (HBCU).

What does all this mean?

Regardless of the view Jackson, Johnson or any of their supporters hold, or the view they would like all of Savannah to have; the perception of the non-black  taxpayers, is that if you must separate yourself by your skin color – you are not capable of offering the best outcome to benefit all taxpayers .

Jackson is not being truthful when she states that she wants a United Savannah, something she knows, will never happen under her leadership as long as her first priority is her own skin color, and with her continued use of segregation , concerns and convictions, all exclusive to those with skin color the same as hers.

Which brings us to the recent crime in the news.

64 % blacks attend public schools in the Savannah school system, black juveniles are the helm of the majority. With this ratio, it is expected that most crime in inner city will be committed by a black juvenile. It isn't a racist thing, just the facts.  It's denial from city hall to not acknowledge this.  Instead they try to hide it.

There should be grave concern when crimes are committed against anyone. However, awareness by our leaders should peak when those crimes become random and violent . Something should be addressed, and not a media statement blaming the victims.

11 months into the year when multiple shootings occurred during a very crowded fair event in a known black neighborhood, a neighborhood already documented in 2012 as having multiple shootings, claimed eight black victims, only THEN,  did the mayor want to address Savannah.

What about the random shooting deaths of firefighter Wesley Franklin, aspiring lawyer,  Michael Biancosino, and well known tour guide, Emily Pickels ?

Should we ask the mayor about them?

We won't,  we already know the answer.

Chatham County/Savannah School System Racial Make up

updated Sep.18, 2012

One would think , the Savannah Economic Development known as SEDA http://www.seda.org/  would be a good place to look at demographic data for the Savannah/Chatham area.

However, SEDA is misleading those searching for actual data for the City of Savannah and Chatham County, especially those with school age children.

For instance it was brought to our attention that young people looking to move to Savannah wanted to know about the racial make up in the city and how that reflects in the public school system.

The data available at SEDA states that in the Savannah MSA
(What does MSA mean? Would you know?)

We searched SEDA for the meaning of Savannah MSA.

Now, we were looking for just the city of Savannah. This is the data we found at SEDA,  below.

http://www.seda.org/savannah/90/demographics-population/population.html

And in our quest to find out the realistic racial make up, we found ProPublica.

ProPublica analyzed federal education data from the 2009-2010 school year to examine whether states provide high-poverty schools equal access to advanced courses and special programs that researchers say will help them later in life.     (below)

http://projects.propublica.org/schools/districts/1301020

Quite a difference!

It appears that SEDA manipulates data to make the city of Savannah appear to be more white than it actually is!

At the Propublica site, each school is listed and you can click on a selected school to find out  relevent information you are looking for.  We have looked at Hodge Elementary School, located at 1101 WEST VICTORY DRIVE SAVANNAH GA., 31401
http://projects.propublica.org/schools/schools/130102000389
(example below)

And here is East Broad Street elementary School, located at 400 EAST BROAD STREET SAVANNAH GA., 31401

 (below)

11 January 2012

City Paid $30,905 to NFBPA

City Paid $30,905 to NFBPA 2009-2010 .

Note: figure does not include air fare, car rental, hotel, travel allowance, or reimbursements, etc.

The city of Savannah claims NFBPA is an allowable expense under professional development.

Did the city of Savannah send all the people  (below) a 1099 ( for the amounts of paying their NFBPA dues, forums, etc ?)

Since payment of their dues (by the City of Savannah) is considered compensation at the IRS, and it cannot be deducted as a business expense.

This compensation should be reported to the IRS and the employee must pay income tax on this compensation.

Annual dues for an individual were $210.  NFBPA also offers Business Membership Dues in the following Categories:

• EXECUTIVE (Platinum) - $5,000
• MANAGEMENT (Gold) - $3,500
• ADMINISTRATIVE (Silver) - $2,500
• PROFESSIONAL (Bronze) - $1,500
• INTERN (Contributor) - $500
• PATRON (Below $500).

But the city of Savannah declares the individual memberships as "Professional" memberships. Yearly FORUMs are usually held each April, Leadership Conferences are held in February , and in between there are scholarship banquets, and then there is a Summer Leadership Conference held in August, and all require a registration fee.

Below are vendor records for direct payments to NFBPA - National Forum for Black Public Administrators, anyone can join but they must all agree to promote blacks over all others. See NFBPA mission statement at the end of this entry.

_______________________________________

The City of Savannah has everything summed up in a raggy .pdf report here and when they total the amounts they are not consistent, for instance they do not include all payments to NFBPA in their totals but include all totals of let's say Fire Chief Association.  The report is chopped up and not representing exactly what was spent to promote blacks only.   They also list figures that are paid to attend Banquets, advertise jobs to promote black only newsletter,  and Forums registrations, as memberships (which they are not).  The city also on 7/2/2010 paid BRAVO MUSIC COMPANY  385.00 as a "Professional Membership",  first, this is a conflict of interest since the city manager sits on the board of BRAVO music company and second, the bravo organization only promotes the black race and no others. Bravo stands for:
Black youth Reaching to Achieve in Vocal and Orchestral music.

Mission Statement

National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA)

The mission of the NFBPA is embodied in the organization's commitment to strengthen the position of Blacks within the field of public administration; to increase the number of Blacks appointed to executive positions in public service organizations; and, to groom and prepare younger, aspiring administrators for senior public management posts in the years ahead.

The NFBPA mission is realized through the pursuit of the following important goals:

To serve the magnet organization for linking public, private and academic institutions into an effective network to support interdisciplinary communications, management innovation and professional development among Blacks choosing public service careers.

To provide intensive and rigorous training in critical management areas in response to the specialized needs of Black public sector professionals.

To identify and groom younger, emerging Black administrators and provide relevant exposure to the challenges and rewards of public service careers.

To conduct research on selected social and economic issues endemic to Blacks.

To sponsor and conduct national and regional forums that enable the discussion of timely issues and topical concerns of the Black community.

To develop and maintain a national information bank on the nation's growing Black public administrative leadership.

To promote, strengthen and expand the roles of Blacks in all aspects of public administration.
